Scribble Art Studio is lucky to be located in Savannah, the birthplace of
Juliette Gordon Lowe, the founder of U.S. Girl Scout Troop in 1912.
While attending boarding school in the U.S. and abroad, Juliette Gordon Lowe
took several landscape painting lessons. Scribble Art Studio assisted a Girl Scout Troop from Ohio visiting Savannah to earn the Collage Artist badge and Comic Artist badge.
We host local troops and partnered with the wonderful team at Girl Scout Moneyville to host badge earning art classes over zoom with girl scouts across the country!
Comic Artist Badge
Girl Scouts earn the Comic Artist Badge by learning how to apply imagery combined with strategic text to engage the readers of their comic storyboard.
Collage Artist
Badge
Girl Scouts earning the Collage Artist Badge will learn a variety of techniques artist use in surface design to create dynamic compositions by repurposing imagery and combining unique materials.
